PolyVent™ Cannulas
The new PolyVent™ Cannulas combine the unique qualities of our Dual Bore Cannulas, coupled with the features of our current subretinal PolyTip® Cannulas. Like the Dual Bore cannulas, the PolyVent will passively release BSS, offsetting the pressure increase caused by the subretinal injection, thus lessening the pressure upon the newly created bleb. We feel this equalizing of IOP will likely assist in reducing reflux of the drug out of the bleb due to less “downward” pressure upon the bleb.
